We took a good look at the events around the world that have been caused by changes in the weather. Let's look more closely at the chemistry of the atmosphere and it's impact on human health as well as it relationship to Global warming.
How if at all has global warming impacted the health of the human population?
If you need some research help come see me for a reading called (Saving the Ozone). Don't forget to include the chemistry connection in your response.
The ozone layer is a layer sorrounding the earth from the sun's harmfull rays. The bad ozone is the smooggy haze that sometimes hover over cities and this is the reaction from car exausts and industrial smokestacks. In other words the ozone closer to ground level is bad and this relates to human health becasue of the highly reactive gas. This makes the air poluted and for people with ashma and gives people a breathing problem.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming has had a great impact on the health of the human population. Scientist found that due to changes in the global climate infectious diseases are being transmitted......to be continued
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming has an impact on the human populations health. The increase of temperatures will lead to heart and respiratory system problems.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has impacted human health because polluted air damages your lungs and that can cause breathing disorders like asthma. Many people die from asthma attacks which effects the human population also.

Global warming is defined as the increase of the average temperature on earth.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming has impacted the health of the human population by it has increased the chances of storms, floods, and vast forest fires.
Samuel Puwol
Global warming is impacting humans health in many ways.Ways like increase of disease spreading , and it also increases the chance for storms, hurricanes, forest fires and it also can make people have a bigger chance of getting asthma and other breathing diseases.

Global warming has indeed impacted the human population! Global warming has did so by,chemicals are destroying our ozone layer. The ozone layer is the layer of the atmosphere that shields us from the sun's harmful rays. However 30 years ago the idea of pollution was not well known and not a big concern. But now due to all of the newer developments of the world today.
ReplyDeleteIt has impacted the health the Human population by spreading disease's like breakbone fever which is cuased by mosquitos-borne flavivirus, impacting food--While other's are positivley impacted others are impacted negatively. Some places the increase of the temperature kills and makes the plants into weeds while others grow much better in the higher temperature. Also it increases drought, hurricanes, and higher chances of water increase
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming Very Well Impacted The Human Population. It Has Affected Us Because The Sun's Harmful Ray Can Damage Our Skin And Cause Us To Get Skin Cancer.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming has impacted the health of the human population because the weather changes and some people cannot take the sudden change which causes them to get sick. CO2 levels are going to increase causing the weeds of Posion Ivy to grow taller and spread out.-LA Times. The amount of hurricanes have doubled(USA Today) which means more deaths and internal problems are stirring. More fires, thunderstorms, and high sea levels are wacking things out of balance and causing lives to be lost.

Global warming affects everything and everyone around us. First let me explain what Global warming is. It's the effect of greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitrous oxide, and methane being exposed to the ozone layer. What these gasses do is trap the heat from the sun in the Earth's atmosphere therefore increasing the temperature. Some places get really hot, so hot that certain mammals can't survive the drastic change and die. But the way it affects humans health in there everyday life is the air pollution that we breath in. It could give us respiratory issues. Maybe even heart issues. Another way is that by the temperature rising it attracts such things as mosquitoes or other disease carrying insects or animals and they can spread harmful diseases. It also can make us produce skin cancer due to the weak protection from the sun's harmful rays . One last example is, droughts. The sun's heat can make very large lakes that a certain population of humans depend on for water evaporate. <3 Jahdai P4
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming is tearing our ozone layer. That as it is, allowing our planet{earth} to accept the harmful UV rays from the sun. Scientifically proven, sunrays(if reaches the skin) causes skin cancer, impacting humans health in which leading to death.
ReplyDeleteThe sun gives off damaging ultraviolet waves which the ozone layer protects us from. As pollution increases the ozone layer has begun to deteriorate letting in more ultraviolet waves. This leads to higher chances of getting sunburned, skin cancer, cataracts, and plant's tissues are harmed which damage crops. If crops are damaged then not only do the farmers have less income, but our supply of nutrition is less causing a weakened immune system.
ReplyDeleteWaves have a major influence on the marine environment and ultimately on the planet's climate, for example, in the real world, waves are not all the same shape but irregular. They are composed of several interfering waves of different frequency and speed. Water waves bounce off denser objects such as sandy or rocky shores. Very long waves such as tsunamis bounce off the continental slope.Tsunamis change the environment because they either destroy what's in the environment or the drastically alter what's in the environment
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming effect human health population by...(after the third setences)
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming is an effect after greenhouse gas.
Greenhouse cause by pollution and pollution cause by human activity(which involve burning paper, car burning fuel, and many other thing.)
Human Health is being affect by global warming because the air is being polluted and which mean the air is fill with bacteria . When human breath in (which mean it will suck in a large amount of bacteria).
Then after that the bacteria starting to destroy human body cell.
Global warming also have effect os increasing temperature..
Many people can get dehydrated....
Global warming has impacted the health of humans population because there was a chemical that was made called chlorofluorocarbons that was hurting the ozone and something had to be done in order for the ozone to improve on the situation.People who live in communities where the ozone level is high have worse lung functions over five years than people living in lower ozone levels. The concentration of ozone. Very low concentrations of ozone can be harmful to the upper respiratory tract and the lungs. #
ReplyDeletePersonal characteristics such as age, gender, weight, general health status. People who have preexisting lung problems, such as emphysema, bronchitis, or asthma, are even more at risk for the effects of ozone. Children also appear to be more susceptible to the effects of ozone. Ozone can increase one's sensitivity to allergens.
Global warming affects the health of the human population by increasing the spread of diseases. Human health solely depends on environmental changes. As the atmosphere continues to heat several diseases will rise. Also crops will become vulnerable to diseases, and as they travel will end up spreading the diseases will people are unknowingly continuing to eat them. Also, in todays modern world, people travel and travel will allow unprepared people to catch tropical disease such as malaria. Also, the climate is heating unevenly which is bad for the time it takes for people to adapt to the changes in the atmosphere, climate, and temperature. The Sun has harmful rays, and as the ozone layer continues to vanish, it allows harmful rays to get to the human population. So, in a nutshell global warming will allow diseases to spread easily and will allow cause sicknesses as skin cancer.

ReplyDeleteHow if at all has global warming impacted the health of the human population?
Global warming is taking part on a major impact of the health of the human population. It contributes to well known diseases such as pneumonia and malaria. Global warming could even spread to the food we eat everyday... As the ozone is disappearing the sun's harmful rays are coming through due to global warming which can causes serious skin disease like skin cancer. Global warming also can cause serious natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. This happens when the hurricanes are still building up in the ocean, the hurricanes get stronger as they cross over warmer waters which is exactly what
Global Warming has affected us humans in any way. First of all, Earth's ozone layer is being damaged. The ozone layer protects us from the Sun's Ultraviolet Rays(UV). As the ozone weakens , a larger amount of UV rays will enter the Earth. A treaty called the Montreal Protocol was signed by some countries to ban CFCS. Global Warming has also affected the weather. It will increase the amount of extreme weather. This could lead to us having more intense Hurricanes.

Global warming has not only had a negative effect on our planet but it has also had a negative effect on people. With global warming comes extreme summer temperatures. If summer temperatures rise extremely it would cause human mortality rates to increase. There would be an increase in heart attacks and cardiac arrest in the hotter temperatures. Also, global warming creates gaps in the ozone layer. This would cause more UV Rays and other harmful rays to enter the atmosphere and thus cause an increase of skin disease.
ReplyDeleteI've found out that global warming has the worst effect on poor countries. It causes an extreme rise in illnesses and speeds up the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria and dengue fever. It can also increase the probability of heat waves and floods. Not only are poor countries worst affected by global warming but also places with usual low temperatures.

ReplyDeleteGlobal warning affects the health of human's because it spreads disease's and bacterias into the air we breath which can lead to terrible illness and sometimes premature deaths for pregnant mom's. In poor countries around the world where they cant afford vaccinations to cancel out risk of getting these disease's have a higher incidence of such disease's. The World health organization say's global warming can lead to certain insect born disease's in Britain and Europe as Europe's atmosphere becomes warmer and thicker which carries Lyme disease and sand-flies with Visceral leishmaniasis move into the air. Global warming can cause many things and no doubt it is dangerous for the health of human the main reason is because the gases that it pollutes into the air.

According to a team of scientists that study health and climate at the World Health Organization and the University of Wisconsin global warming has contributed to more than 150,000 deaths and 5 millions illnesses every year. Global Warming is harder on poorer countries. which sucks because its the countries that give the least boost to it that suffer more. The health of people is mostly affected through perspiration. Global Warming causes them to lose a lot of water in their bodies. http://environment.about.com/od/globalwarmingandhealth/a/gw_deaths.htm
ReplyDeleteThe increase of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere has caused temperatures to increase all around the world. One major increase was in Europe in 2003, where around 30,000 people died in a heat wave.
ReplyDeleteAir pollution from Fossil Fuels can cause Respiratory problems.
Floods can bring pollutants to people that can cause cholera, food poisoning, and other water-born diseases, while Droughts deprive people from water.

Global Warming is an increasing global catastrophe. It affects all aspects of life. Earth is already showing many signs of worldwide climate change. The Arctic ( Alaska, Canada, and Russia ) has been getting the warmest. Alaska's glaciers have been disappearing leaving animals up north homeless. The melting ice caps and snow provide excess water for the oceans drastically raising the sea levels.
ReplyDelete- I've acquired my information in this text from http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/12/1206_041206_global_warming.html
Global warming has affected human health not by it self but by making the chance of getting other diseases increase , for example the chances for getting skin cancer has greatly increased and more and more people are not taking the right steps that they need to protect themselves form the so they are dying. The disappearing ozone layer is a factor in most of the global warming because since it is not there anymore greenhouse gases are keeping in the heat which warms up the Earth causing global warming.
ReplyDeleteThis information was given to me by Ms Gardeners SAVING THE OZONE paper.
Global Warming is making an effect on Earth that can harm many different beings. Human health is affected by ultraviolet rays, which global warming is helping make contact with us. The ozone layer is being destroyed because of the greenhouse effect. Once this protective layer is gone, there will be nothing to stop them.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming is the destruction of the ozone layer by common pollutional byproducts of everyday actions like driving cars or using canned things like spraypaint or Lysol. The ozone layer protects us humans from harmful byproducts of the Sun's light rays. The destruction of the ozone causes that harmful elements to stream in more freely, which can hurt us. Not only this, but it puts out more greenhouse gases, which trap the normally reflected heat of the Sun, which heats up the Earth. This can cause dehydration and can also cause things like heat waves.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming... an inevitable effect of pollution. We as humans are causing pollution towards our environment, our very home the earth. As this Global Warming progresses more and more problems will come our way like; the spread of disease, warmer waters, and melting of the polar ice caps.
ReplyDeleteWhen the northern countries begin to warm more and more organisms will migrate north. Some of these organisms are insects. As the disease carrying insects move further north the spread of plague will become more imminent. As the temperature of the ocean increases the strength of the hurricanes will follow. We can prove this by remember the once great and vast city of New Orleans, which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and Wilma. When the polar ice caps melt the sea levels will increase causing vast amounts of environmental change, causing the killing of numerous amounts of species around the world. The final problem of the melting ice caps would be that, since they're white and since it'll be melted the ocean will be left to the job of reflecting sunlight.
In Conclusion, we as humans should take responsibility for our actions and start to take charge of our environment and protect it, for this is only one earth, and our only home... what shall we do after it's gone?

Global warming these days has done a serious problem to our world. With the way we have various hurricanes and major seasons that occured, there's no telling what can happen in our community. There's no doubt human population growth is a major contributor to global warming, given that humans use fossil fuels to power their increasingly mechanized lifestyles. More people means more demand for oil, gas, coal and other fuels mined or drilled from below the Earth’s surface that, when burned, spew enough carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere to trap warm air inside like a greenhouse. So global warming has impacted the health of the human population.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming have truly impacted the whole world. The Sun have impacted our world, as the atmosphere traps us with heat. The heat comes inside the Earth, and cannot go out. Electricity is harming the world right now, as you are typing and/or reading this blog, because electricity is created by burning fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are created by burning dead plants and animals. We cannot change global warming. Garbage that you throw will be thrown onto landfills, and sometimes they will be burned. As they burn, more greenhouse gases rises up and pollutes more.

Global Warming balance positive and negative health impacts from one location to another. The health impacts are negative. The negative impacts include increasing death, increasing disease ratings, and increasing injury ratings.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming definately has an impact on the health of human population. Evidence of observed climate change include the increase of temperature. According to the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report, It is predicted that future climate changes will include further global warming, and a probable increase in the frequency of some extreme weather events. Human systems are seen as being variable in their capacity to adapt to future climate change. The most direct effect of climate change on humans might be the impacts of hotter temperatures. Extreme high temperatures increase the number of people who die on a given day for many reasons like people with heart problems are vulnerable because their cardiovascular system must work harder to keep the body cool during hot weather; heat exhaustion, and some respiratory problems increase.( Doctors warn that Global warming could mean more cardiovascular diseases)..........resource:http://en.wikipedia.org/
ReplyDeleteHumans have been affected by global warming in many ways, but it has affected the human popullation. How you may ask? Once the ozone layer recieved polluted air this became a problem for people with asthma. The polluted air can destroy the lungs we have. The ultraviolet light that has come from the ozone layer can cause nommelanoma skin cancer. The ozone layer also has an effect and impact on plants, and on marine ecosystems.

Saving The Ozone
Global warming has impacted human's health in many ways. First the human is most likely to suffer from heat exhaustion or heat cramps due to the sudden rise of temperature the human is not really used to. Human's health can also be affected by global warming which can lead to serious cases. For example, heat strokes. Heat strokes are caused by too much interaction with heat. Heat strokes can result in nausea and people can die from a severe case like this.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has a relatively large impact on the health and well being on humans. Many disasters are actually stronger when they are exposed to higher tempretures caused by global warming. An example of this is hurricanes. The power of a hurricane is the tempreture of the water it's on. The warmer ocean, the more powerful the hurricane. If a hurricane goes onto cold water, it starts to waken and will eventually become into a front.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, global warming is caused by chlorflourocarbons (remember 6th grade?), or CFCs for short. The CFCs are found in all sorts of emmisions, but in this example I'll use an Aresol can. The aresol contains CFCs, which reach the upper levels of the atmosphere, where the Ozone is (or O3). A CFC molecule removes one of the oxygen particles, forming 2 molecules of water.
(in two decompositions of 03)
The decomposition of the ozone lets more UV (ultraviolet) waves in from the sun and traps it, like the greenhouse effect. Overtime, more heat is retained, and slowly the tempreture begins to rise. This is what global warming is.
Now that you know what global warming is, we can move on to how it effects disasters and human health.
When the tempreture increases, the intensity of disasters, like hurricanes, increases (as earlier explained). When the intensity of a storm increses, so does the injuries and deaths caused by the storm.

ReplyDeleteGlobal warming is the rising temperature of the earth. It will cause quite a few things. Serious events such as floods and tropical cyclones will be another major cause of human deaths.
Along with other things, a number of infectious diseases is certainly expected to rise. Disease-carrying insects breed well in hot conditions, causing the result, diseases. That will be especially true for tropical countries.
Many millions will suffer from malnutrition because of shortages in food supply. This will lead to weakened immune systems and plain health deterioration. Basicly global warming= bad.
The ozone layer is a layer sorrounding the earth from the sun's harmfull rays. Global warming has had many impacts to health issues in this world. Global warming has damaged the ozone layer and causing us to get many disease. For example skin cancer and many other infections that can be harmful to our body. Global warming is caused by chlorflourocarbons.
ReplyDeleteMichael Hughes(period #2)
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has most definitely impacted the health of the human population because due to global warming the ozone layer is being destroyed. As i have read about chlorofluorocarbons that destroy the ozone layer caused by our man-made chemicals. The ozone layer is used as a form of protection from the ultraviolet rays from the sun. We still get the uv rays but not at a high a dose. If the ozone layer was to vanish then that would most definitely increase the risk of skin cancer and may lead to an increase in deaths.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming have impacted human.Global warming might extend the region for insects that carry infectious diseases such as mosquitoes, ticks and sandflies. Cases of malaria, dengue fever, lyme disease, may increase to a high level in some countries. Rising temperature means rising heat related deaths. Heatwaves, a period of time which consists of more than three days of maximum temperatures will be more frequent and intense. The European heatwave of 2003 was already bad enough. It led to a health crises in several countries that saw 35,000 people dead as a result of the heat wave. So as you can tell global warming do impact humans
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming will be the lead in sickness and death. The temperature will rise and soon when it December it will be 90 degree. That how bad it will get and the worse it still to come. We have already experience the effects of global warming. For example, the rising temperatures could result in larger mosquito populations which contribute to the spread of malaria, dengue and other insect-borne infections. For the sake of humankind we have to get our act together. There are already organizations such as World Health Organization that are working on the problem. Hopefully there will be a better future if we come together to solve this problem.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has impacted human health in a major way. It destroys the ozone. This causes death rates to be very high. Some of the ozone layer is made out of man-made chemicals. The ozone layer protects us from UV rays from the sun. If the ozone layer is destoyed than that can cause skin diseases and cause death rates to be high. Temperatures become very high as well because of global warming.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has had a huge impact on our health. With the big hole in the ozone layer, the sun's rays will cause greater risk in dieseases. Such as skin cancer at the most. Especially also with the rising temperatures which have caused glaciers to melt in the artic and will go on flooding into the United States. We as humans hold a great responsiblity to keep our Earth safe. If we start cutting down more from poolution on fossil fuels and begin to recycle more, maybe we can save our environment & our lives.

ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has a very big effect on human health. Global warming may promote the spread of deadly diseases like malaria and asthma in both rich and poor countries by increasing the range of parasitic insects and whipping up dust from storms.
ReplyDeleteScientists believe greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO2) released by cars and utilities burning fossil fuels, lead to climate change by trapping the sun's heat in the atmosphere. That can lead to rising seas that may cause flooding and stronger storms.
Rising temperatures increase the range of the mosquitoes and ticks that carry maladies like malaria, West Nile virus and Lyme disease, the study said.
In addition, climate change's stronger winds increase the amount of dust in the air from expanding deserts, which compound the effects of air pollutants and smog from the burning of fossil fuels as well as the risks to asthma sufferers.

Yes; global warming has had nothing but a negative affect on human health. To begin with, the greenhouse gases like methane(caused by burping and farting cows)cause air pollution, resulting in breathing problems with the cleanliness of the oxygen intake. Those gases then are fixed on the air, and/or evaporate up into Earth's high atmosphere, committing the greenhouse effect. Here, bad becomes worse. The greenhouse gases eat up the poor ozone layer. The ozone layer is beneficial to humans, blocking from harm UV rays from the Sun. Without it, UV rays can/will cause serious medical conditions, most commonly skin cancer. We humans need to reduce the greenhouse effect as much as we can to avoid a disaster from turning into a catastrophe; 23 cars, into 23people on the bus; and to control the things we feed our cows!
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming has impacted human health by temperatures rising and effecting the ozone layer on the ground that can be harmful to people with asthma, and to our lungs. Global warming has also by greenhouse affects replacing the ozone layer with greenhouse gases. The ozone protects us from the suns harmful UV rays, and UV rays cause skin cancer. Global Warming has indeed affected human health.
ReplyDelete"Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation." Global warming has impacted the health of human populations in many ways. For example, overexposure to UV-radiation may cause skin cancer. Every year many people die from skin cancer. This can be prevented by exposing oneself from ultraviolet rays especially in the during your early years. Another effect of global warming is that the warmer climate raises the population of ticks and mosquitoes. Because of this, diseases such as malaria and dengue has risen. These fatal diseases are mosquito-born diseases. The rates of asthma has also risen because of unhealthy air masses caused by burning fossil fuels.
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming
Global warming has impacted human health in a numerous amount of ways that you may not even be able to name them all. The most biggest and important one would most likely be how we are depleting the area of our ozone layer. Without this layer humans are vulnerable to harmful UV rays that can cause serious diseases like skin cancer and other harmful affects. The next thing that global warming has done already and is still doing unless we as humans act is, the climate change we will experience. If some animals can't adapt to their new surroundings then they will most likely die, and an animal who needed that animals will die due to lac of food and the process will continue on and on until, well nothing is left!
ReplyDeleteNo environment, no people, an unhealthy environment, unhealthy people. Global warming has a major impact on the health of humans. As shown in picture above the question the earth atmosphere is breaking down and allowing harmful UV rays through. This is one of the effects of global warming. Another noticeable effect is the melting glaciers in the North and South Pole also the impact of global warming effects on agriculture becomes increasingly difficult. If this continues imagine how it would be in the future.
ReplyDeleteFood and water resources, economic, and international affairs will all be affected by global warming. Humans have worked though out the years to have a stable environment. We have been to busy caring for the industrialize part to notice what is happening to our natural resources. The atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide in 2005 exceeds by far the natural range over the last 650,000 years. The effects of global warming will be with us for a long time, even if we took all the necessary steps now. But there always hope, organization such as WHO (World Health Organization) are working on ways to reduce global warming so it doesn’t reach a dangerous level.
global warming has impacted the health of the human, by spreading the diseases though out the world. It has increased the value of the population per year. Also there are more diseases that spread from the global warming, and they are Malaria, tuberculosis, acute lower-respiratory infections, which caused extremely in 1998, and claimed 6.1 million lives. So, you can see that global warming has effect the human health.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming is not only a threat to our future health, it already contributes to more than 150,000 deaths and 5 million illnesses annually, according to a team of health and climate scientists at the World Health Organization and the University of Wisconsin at Madison—and those numbers could double by 2030.Global warming impacted the health of the human population by speeding the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria and dengue fever; creating conditions that lead to potentially fatal malnutrition and diarrhea; and increasing the likelihood of heat waves and floods.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has effected the lives of humans because of the pollution that is released. If the atmosphere is being polluted, people have more chances of exposure to diseases and other health issues like skin cancer.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming is something very serious that we have to keep an eye on it is a huge threat to our furture on this planet.Global Warming mostly affects the people who live in poor countries, which is ironic, because the places that have contributed the least to global warming are most vulnerable to the death and disease higher temperatures can bring. They say that Global Regions are at the highest risk for enduring health effects of climate change which includes the coastlines along the Pacific and Indian oceans and sub-Saharan Africa.Large extended cities are also susceptible to temperature-related health problems.
ReplyDeleteHumans every where have been affected by this always talked about subject. Yes, Global Warming! This rapidly rising problem is sweeping the globe. Burning fuels, greenhouse gases and other things have easily caused global warming, however it cannot be easily undone. It has tremedously impacted our environment and health and if not stop it will continue to cause damage. With pollution in the air, diseases spread and cause illness. Also heat waves can occur, and thats never a good thing.
ReplyDeleteglobal warming has impacted the society because now that we know that we have messed up, we are trying not to make things worse by cleaning up the earth, planting more trees, and making the world a safer, more livable place. - jamori wright
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming continues to be a global threat to the lives on earth daily. Death casualties have jumped from thousands to millions over the decades. Heat-induced desease's are springing every where as we speak. Rare disease's like asthma turn into common diseases by the epidimc called global warming
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has made several impacts on human health. It overworks your cardiovascular system. The hotter the temperature, the more likely it will put a strain on your respiratory and heart problem. If you don't have them, it willincrease your chance. The ozone layer is absolutely perfect when it is up in the air due to the fact it protects us from the sun's harmful ultraviolet waves. However, since the temperature is increasing, it makes the ozone (which is a highly reactive gas) layer go to ground level. When combined with dust, smoke, and chemical fumes, it can be deadly. Especially to those with respiratory problems. The rising temperature also creates heatwaves, which are periods of time where the heat is repeated and intense. The European Heatwave of 2003 lead to many deaths, counting up to 35,000 people. The Environment Protection Agency made a statistic where people who die from heat outnumber those from cold by twice as much. It extends regions where animals and insects that carry infectous diseases such as malaria, lyme disease, and dengue fever occur to an important level. The rising sea levels is another side effect of the global warming. 13 of the 20 largest cities in the world will risk flooding if glabal warming is not stopped.
ReplyDeleteClimatic changes related to global warming could foster dangerous outbreaks of cholera, dengue fever and malaria. There are strong indications that a disturbing change in disease patterns has begun and that global warming is contributing to them. The spread of infectious diseases has accelerated not only because the world is warming, but because nighttime temperatures are rising faster than daytime temperatures. This has particularly disturbing implications for human health because the range of many disease-transmitting insects is limited chiefly by nighttime temperatures.Diseases like dengue and malaria are affecting new populations as warmer conditions allow mosquitoes to survive over a wider area and at higher altitudes.
ReplyDeleteSince global warming comes from human made things such as cars, factories, and chemicals they are very harmful to humans. Global warming has been causing skin damages and effecting those with asthma. The skin damages can turn into diseases and then a death. Because gas and chemicals are clogging up the air, those with asthma are highly affected and can possibly die.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has really impacted the human
ReplyDeletepopulation by the occuring cold chills and
rains along with the way we treat our good
earth by using up our fossil fuel and that
raising our gas prices.Which is putting a
stress on our health and to our ecosystem. We
also use our car so much that it puts a
cloud haze over our cities that in turn
hurts our lungs.
Global warming has alot to do with the human population. Since global warming is increasing more and more people are being affected by their asthma and more people are being diagnosed with respitory problems.
ReplyDeleteThere are many ways that global warming has impacted the health of the human population. One is that the hole in the ozone layer has caused more of the sun's rays to enter our atmosphere, those rays can cause things like skin cancer which is a very big effect on the human population. Most of the radiation from the sun is absorbed by Earth's surface, but only some of the radiation is reflected by the Earth's atmosphere. Greenhouse gases allow sunlight to enter the Earth's atmosphere freely, all of the sunlight entering the atmosphere can cause the polar ice caps to melt which can cause the sea level to rise which can have a major effect the on the environment and the human population, effects such as possible floods or things of that nature.
ReplyDeleteGlobal Warming really does impact humanity's health. If it wasn't for Global warming many diseases and bacteria wouldn't b circulated throughout the planet. Not only that but, thanks to global warming the Earth is hating up rapidly. This could become a way to get skin cancer. Also because of Global warming the POlar Ic Caps are melting not only causing animals to go extinct, but if thy completely melt away the Sea level will rise flooding many places and as a result killing many people.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has affected humane health tremendously. A big affect being uppon us right now, is the ozone layer decreasing. this is because of humane-made products that kills the ozone layer, which protects us from the suns harmful uv rays. this is more likely to raise the chances of sunburn or maybe even skin cancer.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming has impacted humane health by rising the rates of death per year and the number of people that end up in the hospital. Many americans are over weight wich in turn makes them more suitable or more likely to have a stroke or a hot flash. As the temperature goes up so does your heart rate, your heart rate approximately doubles its rate every time you increase the temperature 10 degrees.

ReplyDeleteGlobal warming impacts us humans in i believe the most 3 harmful ways which are through water, food supplies, and our human health, but the impact it has on our human health is extremely crucial. So crucial that it killed about 35,00 people died when a heat-wave striked europe during 2003. It impacts us also from the number of infectionous diseases has raised because disease carrying insects are known to breed in hot climates and becuase global warming its getting more and more worst the insects are coming and bringing more diseases which can impact us when in contact with any of these insects.

ReplyDeleteGlobal warming affect people in a very big way. It has a very drastic impact on us. The ozone layer plays a big part of global warming. The ozone protects us from the harm full rays of the sun. The ozone layer is a shield that covers the earth and protects us humans. With out that shield we would most likely burn to death. The ozone is developing a hole on top of it, as the whole gets bigger things get bad for us. The weather changes, we have agriculture problems, and life jus gets harder. This is how global warming affects us.
ReplyDeleteGlobal warning has affected the health of the human population in a lot of way. The chemicals we human have created has been damaging the Ozone layer and if the ozone layer is destroyed than the sun will hurt us. For example the UV rays from the sun if it reaches our skin it can cause skin cancer. We as human need to take care of our planet by recycling more and creating less air pollution.
ReplyDeleteAlso because of global warming we are have having more natural disaster like wild fires.Second the burn of fossil fuel increases the chances of having asthma because fossil fuels pollute the atmosphere.

Global warming affected the environment by it causes natural disaster such as wild fire and pollution. Also by when they burn fossil fuels it pollute the air which make it easier to get asthma. Second by it penetrate our ozone layer which then allow ultra-violet rays from the sun to enter our atmosphere which when encounter our skin causes sunburn, and when the ozone layers it becomes hotter and that lead to dehydration faster.
